Club SyrV (pronounced “serve”) has a mission to provide a place for elite volleyball athletes from Central New York to develop their talent and compete at the highest level possible, while preparing to play at the collegiate, national and international levels.  Club director, Kathy Patton Gedney and club coordinator, Karl Caputo, founded Club SyrV in 2009.  In it's first fourteen seasons, Club SyrV has grown to host up to 19 teams with players from over thirty different school districts. Specific teams and programs to be offered by Club SyrV for the 2023-2024 season will be determined based on the needs of Central New York and the availability of high level coaches. Our coaching staff continues to be made up of the most passionate and knowledgeable coaches in Central New York, most of whom have competed at the collegiate level and some who have competed at the professional level.  All of our programs focus on a highly competitive AND relentlessly positive experience for all our players!
